Our Solutions

Surface Treatment Technologies

Three proven methods to increase surface energy and ensure reliable adhesion — each optimised for different substrates, geometries and production environments.

Atmospheric & Low-Pressure

Plasma Treatment

Atmospheric & Low-Pressure

Our plasma systems generate ionized gas that reacts with the substrate surface at a molecular level — creating polar functional groups that dramatically increase surface energy and wettability.

  • Atmospheric plasma jets for in-line 3-D part treatment
  • Low-pressure batch chambers for high-value components
  • Uniform activation on complex geometries
  • Process gas flexibility (air, O₂, N₂, Ar, forming gas)
  • Real-time process monitoring & closed-loop control

Applications: Ideal for automotive interior bonding, medical device assembly, electronics encapsulation and aerospace composite prep.

Film, Foil & 3-D Substrates

Corona Treatment

Film, Foil & 3-D Substrates

High-frequency electrical discharge between an electrode and a grounded roller ionizes the air gap, oxidizing the surface of films and foils at full production speed — boosting ink, adhesive and coating adhesion.

  • Bare-roll and covered-roll station designs
  • Web widths from 200 mm to 3 000 mm
  • 3-D corona for bottles, caps and formed parts
  • Ceramic and metal electrode options
  • Integrated power supplies with automatic watt-density regulation

Applications: Perfect for flexible packaging, label printing, blown/cast film extrusion and lamination lines.

Precision Oxidation

Flame Treatment

Precision Oxidation

A precisely controlled air-gas flame briefly contacts the substrate surface, depositing oxygen-containing functional groups. Flame treatment is especially effective on polyolefins and other low-energy plastics.

  • Ribbon, drum and robotic burner configurations
  • Automated air-to-gas ratio control for consistent results
  • Effective on thick-walled and heavy 3-D parts
  • No electrical discharge — safe near sensitive electronics
  • Low operating cost and minimal maintenance

Applications: Used in automotive bumper/dashboard painting, household appliance decoration and large-format container printing.

Why Surface Treatment?

Proper surface activation is the foundation of reliable bonding, printing, coating and painting — and it pays for itself fast.

Superior Adhesion

Increase surface energy by 2–5× to ensure inks, adhesives, coatings and paints bond reliably — even on difficult-to-bond substrates.

Reduced Defects

Eliminate delamination, fisheyes, poor print adhesion and coating failures at the root cause — inconsistent surface energy.

Cost Savings

Replace primers and chemical pre-treatments with dry, in-line surface activation — cutting material, labour and VOC disposal costs.

Production Speed

All our systems are designed for in-line integration — treat parts at full production speed with zero bottleneck.
